The single "Soldier" is a result of a connection between Brazil and Jamaica.

Thorpido is a young and very talented jamaican singer. He grew up listening to singers such as Buju Banton, Capleton and Bounty Killer. In 2009, he started his career with the single "Evil Deeds".

In "Soldier", he sings about how strong we have to be when fighting for a cause on the "nordeste step" riddim.

The riddim was produced by the RockersTime All Stars, a group of local musicians from Recife and Olinda, cities in the state of Pernambuco [Brazil].

All of that work was mixed by Buguinha Dub, a brazilian dub master who has worked with artists such as Digitaldubs, Black Alien, Natiruts, Marina Peralta, Black Alien and many many more.
